A great way to start is to volunteer at one of our many events and cleanups.
Our annual “Clean Waves Tour” brings Surfrider volunteers to Carolina Beach, Wrightsville and Topsail to help keep our beaches clean and ocean-friendly.
At the end of the year, volunteers who are members of Surfrider that make it to eight out of ten "Clean Waves" events get a limited edition hoodie. Plus, one volunteer who has the most hours between cleanups, tabling and other events will take home this surfboard.
