Surfboard Recycling Project

This project is more than just recycling: it’s a celebration of creativity, community, and conscious impact. By rescuing old surfboards from our local landfills and placing them into the hands of inspired artists, we’re giving these once-loved boards a second life as powerful pieces of art.

Through partnerships with Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, and Topsail surf shops, we’re creating a streamlined, accessible way for the community to contribute. The process is simple: you drop off your board at one of our designated locations, we pick them up and distribute them to local artists, and they make the magic happen from there.

The journey doesn’t end there—once transformed, these boards will be showcased in a public art show that honors your talent and the collective effort to protect our coastlines. It’s a full-circle mission: reduce waste, uplift artists, and inspire others. Details on this event are TBD at this time.
